JOB DESCRIPTION

A Surface Grinding Machine Operator ensures precision machining of metal parts by operating and maintaining grinding machines, while meeting quality, safety, and production standards. The Surface Grinding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining surface grinding machines to produce high-precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves selecting and dressing grinding wheels, clamping workpieces accurately, and inspecting finished parts to ensure required surface finish, flatness, and dimensional accuracy. The operator will also perform routine machine maintenance, maintain production records, and strictly follow workplace safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement in machining processes.
