JOB DESCRIPTION
The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards within the mechanical engineering facility.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across workshops, production areas, and project sites.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations.
Identify potential hazards in mechanical engineering operations, equipment, Painting and coating processes.
Conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and drills for employees and contractors.
Promote awareness of safe working practices and proper use of PPE.
Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports for management review.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and maintenance teams to implement safe work methods.
Support emergency response planning and implementation (fire, chemical, electrical, or mechanical emergencies).
