We are looking for a skilled Pipeline Welder to perform high-quality welding on piping systems used in industrial, process, oil & gas, chemical, and utility projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipes while ensuring compliance with approved welding procedures and quality standards.
1. Perform pipe welding using processes such as GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Arc), and GMAW (MIG), as required.
2. Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
3. Weld pipe joints in various positions (2G, 5G, and 6G) according to approved welding procedures.
4. Ensure proper joint preparation, alignment, and fit-up before welding.
5. Inspect completed welds for defects and carry out necessary repairs when required.
6. Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and quality standards.
7. Maintain welding equipment and ensure safe operation of tools.
8. Comply with all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
9. Coordinate with pipe fabricators, supervisors, and quality inspectors to complete work on schedule.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
* Knowledge of welding codes, safety practices, and quality requirements.
* Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel pipes.
* Familiarity with visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) requirements.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
