The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing all MEP activities at the construction site. The role ensures that MEP systems are installed according to project specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.
1. Supervise and execute Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) works at site as per approved drawings and specifications. 2. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth site execution. 3. Monitor hot water system, piping, plumbing, electrical installation activities. 4. Ensure work is carried out as per project schedule, quality standards, and safety norms. 5. Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, and material requirement schedules. 6. Inspect incoming materials and ensure proper storage and usage at site. 7. Resolve site-related technical issues and provide solutions promptly. 8. Coordinate with civil teams to avoid clashes and ensure integrated execution. 9. Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. 10. Ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements. 11. Preparing and fully acknowledged copy of IMR sheets. 12. WIR, MIR, SRC, ISC such system with client (Preparation and approval from client). 13. Preparation, handover and commissioning documents for handing over.
Strong knowledge of piping, plumbing, and basic electrical works. • Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential projects preferred. • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings. • Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to work at site and handle multiple activities.
