We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer with at least 2 years of experience in structural steel fabrication, erection, or construction projects.
1. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance. 2. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls. 3. Conduct new employee safety orientation. 4. Conduct PPE assessments to determine required equipment. 5. Ensure employees know emergency procedures. 6. Maintain accurate an up-to-date safety records. 7. Communicate safety information and updates to employees. 8. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes with the permission of safety manager.
* Good knowledge of HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, risk assessment, and emergency response. * Familiarity with safety standards related to work at height, lifting operations, welding, cutting, and structural erection. * Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in MS Office for preparing reports and documentation.
