JOB DESCRIPTION

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components as per drawings, quality standards, and production targets. Operate CNC machines such as CNC Lathe, VMC, or HMC. Load and unload raw materials and finished components. Follow job instructions and engineering drawings accurately. Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments if required. Inspect components using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain production records and update job cards. Ensure quality standards and minimize rejection and rework. Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance. Follow safety rules and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Report machine breakdowns, tool wear, or quality issues to the supervisor.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

Knowledge of CNC machine operation and tooling. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Familiarity with CNC controllers (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi is an advantage).
