We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer to prepare detailed piping drawings for industrial engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have experience creating 2D & 3D piping layouts, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings while coordinating with engineering and project teams.
1. Prepare detailed 2D and 3D piping drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Develop piping layouts, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
3. Coordinate with Piping Engineers and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and project compliance.
4. Review and update drawings based on engineering comments and site requirements.
5. Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and drawing documentation.
6. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
7. Maintain drawing revisions and document control procedures.
8. Assist in design optimization and clash detection activities.
9. Support project execution teams with technical drafting requirements.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) & Solidworks, knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D is an added advantage.
* Good understanding of piping components, P&IDs, piping layouts, and engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of ASME/ANSI piping standards.
* Experience with piping fabrication drawings and BOM preparation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good problem-solving and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
