The profile will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring quality and on-time delivery, optimizing productivity, managing profitability, and leading cross-functional teams while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
1. Lead and manage Production, Planning, Quality, Purchase, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch functions.
2. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve production, quality, and financial objectives.
3. Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining high productivity and cost efficiency.
4. Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), machine utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and TPM.
6. Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific quality requirements.
7. Review production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
8. Coordinate with customers regarding project execution, audits, quality issues, and delivery commitments.
9. Oversee budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and profitability.
10. Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and development of department heads and employees.
11. Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, environmental, and labour regulations.
12. Support new product development (NPD), process improvements, and technology upgrades.
* Strong leadership and people management abilities.
* Extensive knowledge of CNC machining, VMC, HMC, Turning Centers, and precision manufacturing.
* Expertise in production planning, quality systems, and supply chain management.
* Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, machining processes, and inspection techniques.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
* Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
* Experience in manufacturing precision components for aerospace, defence, or automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
* Experience handling customer audits and regulatory compliance.
* Proven track record in improving productivity, reducing manufacturing costs, and achieving operational excellence.
