We are looking for a qualified Pipeline Engineer to plan, design, execute, and supervise pipeline and piping projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering design, site coordination, quality control, and ensuring project completion in accordance with client specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
1. Review pipeline and piping designs, layouts, and engineering drawings.
2. Interpret P&IDs, piping isometric drawings, GA drawings, and project specifications.
3. Coordinate pipeline fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
4. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
5. Monitor project progress, quality, and schedule to ensure timely completion.
6. Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
7. Review material specifications, BOMs, and procurement requirements.
8. Supervise hydrotesting, flushing, pressure testing, and other pre-commissioning activities.
9. Identify technical issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
10. Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
11. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Strong knowledge of piping engineering principles, fabrication, installation, and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, E3D, or other piping design software is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, and other relevant piping codes and standards.
- Experience in project planning, quality assurance, and site execution.
- Familiarity with material selection, stress considerations, and pipeline testing procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project activities.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
