JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to manage production planning and scheduling for CNC machining operations. The candidate will coordinate with production, purchase, stores, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure on-time delivery while optimizing machine utilization and production efficiency.

1. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements.
2. Schedule jobs for CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, and other machining operations.
3. Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to the planned schedule.
4. Coordinate with the purchase and stores departments to ensure material availability.
5. Track work-in-progress (WIP) and identify production bottlenecks.
6. Optimize machine capacity and manpower utilization.
7. Follow up with production teams to meet delivery commitments.
8. Coordinate with the quality department for inspection planning and timely clearance.
9. Prepare production reports, planning dashboards, and delivery status updates.
10. Maintain production planning records in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
11. Work closely with customers and internal teams regarding schedule changes and priority orders.
12. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.
