JOB DESCRIPTION
Business Development Officer acts as the bridge between clients and recruiters—bringing in new business, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the firm meets its revenue and placement targets.
Identify, approach, and acquire new clients (companies looking for recruitment services).
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, HR managers, and decision-makers.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to understand staffing needs and propose recruitment solutions.
Ensure client satisfaction and act as a primary point of contact.
Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and hiring patterns to identify new opportunities.
Send proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
Coordinate with managers/recruiters to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated.
Monitor the progress of candidate sourcing and ensure timely fulfillment of client mandates.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and business development activities.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Candidates should have minimum 2 years experienced in marketing/sales/business development.
Strong ability to identify, approach, and close new business opportunities.
Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
Confident in engaging with senior-level executives and decision-makers.
