JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing production teams and optimizing manufacturing processes.

1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
2. Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
3. Supervise fabrication, machining, assembly, welding, and testing activities related to crane manufacturing.
4. Prepare and maintain production schedules and progress reports.
5. Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
6. Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
7. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
8. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
9. Analyze production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
10. Maintain production records, work instructions, and documentation.
11. Support inspection, testing, and commissioning activities when required.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
* Understanding of quality standards, inspection procedures, and workplace safety practices.
* Experience in crane manufacturing, heavy fabrication, structural engineering, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
* Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, assembly procedures, and production planning.
* Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.
* Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and production reporting tools.
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
