We are recruiting Quality Engineers with experience in CNC machining and precision engineering components. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process by conducting inspections, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
1. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of machined components.
2. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
3. Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
4. Inspect components using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), if applicable.
5. Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
6. Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
7. Monitor process quality and support production teams in reducing defects and rework.
8. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 quality management requirements, where applicable.
9. Handle customer complaints and coordinate with production and engineering teams for resolution.
10. Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities.
11. Support new product development through PPAP, FAI, APQP, and related quality documentation, if required.
* Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
* Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
* Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and SPC.
* Familiarity with CMM operation and reporting is an added advantage.
* Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering components.
* Knowledge of customer quality standards and documentation.
* Familiarity with ERP/MES systems is an added advantage.
