JOB DESCRIPTION
A Moulding Tool Maker in a Toolroom is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, fitting, maintaining, and repairing precision mold tools, ensuring they meet production, quality, and safety standards.
Manufacture and finish injection mold using conventional machines and CNC machines.
Assemble and fit mold tools, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and proper functionality.
Carry out preventive maintenance, repair, and modification of mold tools.
Inspect and verify components using precision measuring instruments.
Support production teams during mold trials and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with toolroom quality standards and tolerances.
Maintain proper storage, cleanliness, and safety in the toolroom.
Provide feedback for mold design improvements and process optimization.
Follow workplace safety protocols and ensure proper PPE usage.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Proficiency in conventional machines (lathe, milling, surface grinding, drilling, shaping).
Strong knowledge of mold assembly, fitting, and maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tool designs.
Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
