JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accountant is responsible for all account related activities in the department, coordination with auditors and vendors.
1. Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP systems.
2. Record sales, purchase, receipt, and payment vouchers accurately.
3. Prepare customer invoices and follow up for payments.
4. Maintain records of credit/debit notes.
5. Monitor petty cash expenses and maintain proper documentation.
6. Assist in GST filing activities like GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, input reconciliation, etc.
7. Support TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
8. Support in preparing monthly salary sheets and attendance data.
9. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports as required.
10. Maintain accurate documentation for audits, financial reviews, and compliance.
11. Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements.
12. Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments.
13. Support in responding to queries related to accounts and finance.
