JOB DESCRIPTION
The Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising unskilled workers in the paint plant to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role includes workforce coordination, documentation, and effective communication to meet production and safety requirements.
Supervise and manage unskilled workers engaged in paint plant operations.
Allocate daily work tasks and ensure work is completed as per production plan.
Monitor worker attendance, discipline, and productivity.
Ensure adherence to safety rules, housekeeping standards, and plant procedures.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations.
Prepare and maintain basic documentation such as attendance records, work reports, and shift logs.
Report production issues, manpower shortages, and safety concerns to management.
Train workers on basic work practices, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience in supervising unskilled or contract labor in an industrial environment.
Ability to prepare and maintain basic documentation and reports.
Good communication skills in Hindi (mandatory); basic English/Kannada is an added advantage.
Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety practices in paint or manufacturing plants is preferred.
