We are looking for a skilled Pipe Fabricator to join our piping company and support the fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems for industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cutting, fitting, welding preparation, and assembling pipes as per drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
1. Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, and work instructions.
2. Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and fit pipes according to project specifications.
3. Assemble piping components such as elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, valves, and supports.
4. Perform pipe alignment and fit-up before welding.
5. Ensure fabricated spools meet dimensional and quality requirements.
6. Use fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
7. Inspect fabricated components for accuracy and report any deviations.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures.
9. Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and quality inspectors to ensure timely completion of work.
* Ability to read and understand piping isometric drawings.
* Knowledge of pipe fabrication techniques, measuring instruments, and hand/power tools.
* Familiarity with fabrication standards and workplace safety practices.
* Knowledge of different pipe materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel.
* Good understanding of pipe fittings, flange connections, and fabrication tolerances.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
