JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and monitoring of water treatment plant projects from engineering through manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
Assist in planning and execution of water treatment plant projects.
Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and site teams.
Review and understand P&IDs, GA drawings, layouts, and process flow diagrams.
Support engineering calculations related to water treatment processes.
Coordinate with manufacturing team for fabrication of tanks, skids, piping, and structures.
Follow up with procurement for timely availability of equipment and materials.
Supervise installation, piping, equipment erection, and interconnections at site.
Coordinate testing, flushing, hydro testing, and commissioning activities.
Ensure smooth handover of systems to the client after commissioning.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and safety norms.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including drawings, reports, and checklists.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
Attend project meetings and provide technical inputs.
Support inspections, FAT, SAT, and client approvals.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Strong knowledge of water treatment processes (ETP, STP, RO, UF, WTP).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Good project coordination, planning, and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of piping, mechanical equipment, and instrumentation.
Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
