JOB DESCRIPTION

The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within the manufacturing plant by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations. 1. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance. 2. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls. 3. Conduct new employee safety orientation. 4. Conduct PPE assessments to determine required equipment. 5. Ensure employees know emergency procedures. 6. Maintain accurate an up-to-date safety records. 7. Communicate safety information and updates to employees. 8. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes with the permission of safety manager.
