We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with at least 1 year of experience in structural engineering or fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings, revising designs based on engineering inputs, and ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
1. Prepare detailed 2D structural drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Create fabrication, GA (General Arrangement), and shop drawings.
3. Modify and update drawings as per engineering and client requirements.
4. Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
5. Maintain proper documentation and revision records of drawings.
6. Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
7. Assist in preparing material layouts and drawing-related documentation.
8. Meet project deadlines while maintaining high drafting quality.
1. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of 3D drafting is an added advantage.
2. Good understanding of structural drawings, fabrication details, and engineering standards.
3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
5. Knowledge of steel structures and fabrication drawings.
6. Familiarity with MS Office.
7. Good communication and organizational skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver work within deadlines.
