JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and supporting revenue growth for piping, structural, and fabrication projects across industrial sectors.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in piping, structural, and fabrication works.
Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, networking, and market research.
Meet EPC contractors, project owners, consultants, and industrial clients.
Promote company capabilities in fabrication, erection, piping, and structural works.
Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and prequalification documents.
Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and project teams for technical inputs.
Follow up on enquiries, negotiations, and order finalization.
Maintain client database and prepare daily/weekly visit and sales reports.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and project discussions.
Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience dealing with EPC contractors and industrial clients.
Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Technical understanding of piping and structural fabrication.
Relationship-building and client management skills.
Ability to meet targets and work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and proposal preparation.
