JOB DESCRIPTION
Tool Designer is responsible for Design and detailing for High-speed Stamping Tool using AutoCad, Solidworks and Solid-Edge.
Executing of Drawings and Bill of Materials.
Creation of Final Drawings for Final Machining Detail, Assembly Detail.
Engineering standards followed by selection of Raw Material for the required products Creation of Bill of Materials for Raw material, Individual Components and Assembly Independently.
Leading all activities of tool design & development from conceptual through detail phases, post design support to development, Component feasibility study, involvement in quoting tool cost, Designing of die layout, press tools. Designing Tool for critical press parts, progressive die & multi slide tool. Responsible for Designing press dies layout and machining fixtures (Mechanical, hydraulic) using AutoCad, Solid-edge (Expert in Modeling, surfacing, sheet metal and drafting).
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Candidate should have good knowledge in Terminals and connector metal components.
Proficiency in maintaining Tool Design activities.
Experience with project management.
Strong leadership and problem solving skill.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinking with excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Strong analytical and process trouble shooting skill.
Ability to communicate well with other members in the development team.

Identifying Quality issues and writing reports of quality issues related with Tool Design.
Good knowledge in Quality Tools and Process Documentation.
