JOB DESCRIPTION
The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating fabrication activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of jobs in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and company standards.
Supervise and control fabrication works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and timelines.
Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials to achieve production targets.
Monitor and maintain quality standards, welding accuracy, and finishing.
Enforce strict safety practices, conduct safety checks, and ensure PPE usage.
Train, guide, and evaluate the performance of welders, fabricators, and helpers.
Verify availability of raw materials, consumables, and equipment; raise requisitions as needed.
Maintain accurate records of production, material usage, and workforce deployment.
Interpret fabrication drawings and provide technical support to workers.
Ensure maintenance and calibration of fabrication tools, machines, and lifting equipment.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and customer requirements.

Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding processes, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication standards.
Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
Basic computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP systems preferred).
