JOB DESCRIPTION

The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining structural and fabricated mechanical components as per engineering drawings and company standards. Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings. Assemble, fit, and align structural and mechanical components. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to achieve accuracy. Assist welding and fabrication teams in positioning, tacking, and fitting. Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical assemblies. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain proper documentation and report daily progress to supervisors.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

The role requires hands-on fitting, precision measurements, and coordination with fabrication and welding teams to ensure high-quality project execution. Preferably from ITI/Diploma in Fitting/Mechanical trade. Minimum 1 year of experience in fabrication/structural fitting. Knowledge of measurement tools, alignment, and basic welding support. Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.
