We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience in operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine operation, tool setting, and quality inspection, ensuring precision and adherence to production schedules.
1. Operate and monitor VMC machines efficiently.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and job orders.
3. Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.
4. Perform tool offset corrections and minor program editing if required.
5. Ensure production as per quality standards and production targets.
6. Conduct regular inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
7. Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety guidelines.
8. Report machine issues or production deviations to the supervisor.
* Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining processes.
* Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
* Basic understanding of cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
* Experience working with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or other CNC control systems.
* Knowledge of different workpiece materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in shifts.
